The 2012 Christmas Scavenger Hunt...

This is the Christmas Scavenger Hunt.  Some of the questions are easy and some are very challenging, and I would be surprised if anyone got them all right.  This is not meant to be done quickly! The first Scavenger Hunt that contains the MOST correct answers will win a present on the last day of school before the Christmas break.  You can not do this in pairs or with a partner; these questions must be done alone at school only.  You cannot save your answer to a USB drive; you must save your work only to your H:\drive. Finally, there may be many different answers on the internet to these questions- some correct and some incorrect.  After all, anyone can write anything on the internet. I have tried to make my answers as accurate as possible. So, just like the referee in a soccer or hockey game, my decision/answer is final :-).  Don't expect to finish this before next week: it's meant to make you improve your internet search skills...Key words...remember...:-)

Directions: (read them through first before doing them...)
  • Select and copy these questions into Microsoft Word
  • Save the questions to your H:\Drive with the name YourNameCSH.doc
  • Insert your name on the footer
  • You should use the golden rules
  • Use any of the school link search engines to find the answers
  • Type your OWN answers under each question
    • you must key word any answers you get from the internet
    • you may not plagiarize by copying and pasting answers directly from the internet
    • in the event of a tie-break, spelling will count...
  • Insert the time and date after your name in the footer
  • Save to H:\drive when you're completely finished before you...
  • Print...Hole punch your work and add it to the binder by the printer.
  • If you have not followed these directions, then your answers won't be accepted.
  • Good luck and have fun!
