The 3 Levels of Government Worksheet and Graphic Organizer



  1. Go to the P:\ drive and find "Government Worksheet.doc" and open it. 
  2. Save it to your H:\ drive calling it Government Worksheet YourName
  3. Complete it in MS word. You may use your text book to help.
  4. Save, Print and take it back to your computer.
  5. Go to your desktop. Find My Computer. Click on it. Find the P:\ drive and find "The 3 Levels of Government in Canada.isf" and open it. 
  6. Save it to your H:\ drive calling it Government of Canada Graphic Organizer YourName (perhaps you could use your copy and paste skills and change your name...?)
  7. Complete it in Inspirations by filling in the various bubbles with the correct information for each level of government.  The bubbles that are in BOLD are already done for you.  You only need to fill in the bubbles that don't have any BOLD in them.
  8. PUT YOUR NAME IN THE NAME BOX
  9. SAVE IT.
  10. PRINT IT.
  11. HOLE PUNCH IT AND PUT IT IN YOUR SS BINDER RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR CHAPTER 5 DRAFT.
To complete this activity you will need to have your text book and to look at Chapter 5.  You may also use the internet (Google) to search for the information too.

Read and view these videos.  Be sure to read all four pages.  If you are observant, you will find a button that allows you to have the computer to read it to you...Don't ask me, it's right there...:-)

Starclimber Post#1: Astralnaut Training - How Well Would YOU Do?


Think about all the different ways the astralnaut candidates are tested and the different tasks they had to perform. Answer the following questions using at least 3 complete sentences PER question.  You need to include 2 dressups in each answer so that you have used all 6 dressups.
  1. What physical skills, emotions, and personality/character traits are  astralnaut candidates tested on?
  2. What are the testers looking for in an astralnaut? 
  3. How do you think you’d perform on the astralnaut tests? Where do you think you would excel in these tests?  What areas would you have difficulty with?


Copy the question into MS Word. Answer below the question using the Golden Rules. Proof read (COPS) it using WORD TALK. 5 sentences minimum (JM!) When you have saved the best copy, then copy and paste it into the comments below.  Remember to include only your first name.
